Welcome to the home of the Garrett County Summer Reading Program “Read for the Fun of It!” This is the 8th year of this program. This program is a regularly sponsored event promoted by the Garrett County Board of Education.  Currently all incoming 6th and 9th graders receive a free book of their choice to promote reading over the summer months. We are sponsored by community support, donations and the Garrett County Board of Education.
