Athletic Announcements:

The SHS Athletic Department would like to announce the creation of an all sports, Athletic Hall of Fame. This is a separate entity than the existing football hall of fame. The indication of the initial class will take place during the winter sports season of 2013-2014 with subsequent classes being inducted on a yearly basis. The Hall of Fame is committee driven under the guidance of the Athletic Department and will seek nominations from the public.

The SHS Athletic Hall of Fame seeks to induct those athletes and coaches whose high school career accomplishments bear induction into a Hall of Fame. All sports sponsored by SHS will be considered for induction as this is not sport specific. Athletes will be inducted based upon their athletic careers at SHS. the Hall of Fame seeks to honor coaches and athletes at this time, with consideration to opening the Hall up to contributors being decided at a later date. More details about this endeavor will be released as the ceremony approaches.
